Support Group for Miscarriage and Early Infant Loss

In Heaven’s Cradle is a support group reaching out to the women who have experienced the loss of a child through miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, stillbirth, or early infant death. This Bible study will last for eight-weeks and minister to women who are struggling with feelings of grief, anger, and depression that often accompany such tragic loss. It is also designed to reach out to the non-Christian as it presents the life-changing gospel through the Word of God.

Healing Hearts Hospice is a pregnancy/infant loss program of the Crisis Pregnancy Centers of Tucson.  Hospice care provides a different kind of hope; hope of time with your baby, hope of collecting memories and keepsakes to validate your baby’s life, hope of uncomplicated grief by being prepared.  The best care we can give you is not to protect you from pain but to support your though it.

Reason to Hope
	I received a phone call from my doctors office to come in right away because they had my test results. When I got in there, my doctor told me the amnio was also abnormal, not for trisomy 18, but for trisomy 13. I was in pure shock! I told the doctor that the ultrasound was normal and he said that there are just some things that you just cannot see. He gave me three choices, adoption, abortion, or to keep the baby in which  our lives would change forever. Finding our during your pregnancy that your baby has a life-limiting condition may overwhelm you with strong feelings and many questions.  You are faced with heart breaking decisions that must be made in a short period of time.  Healing Hearts Hospice is designed to support parents of an unborn baby diagnosed with a fatal birth defect.

We would like to join you on this difficult journey and provide support and guidance as you plan for the rest of your pregnancy, delivery and when necessary, saying good-bye.  We will work alongside your care provider and the hospital where you will deliver.

• Prenatal education
• Birth plan development
• Emotional and spiritual support for you and your family
• Assistance with preparing other children in the family
• Labor support
• Community referrals (as needed)
• Monthly visits (more often if needed)
• Anticipatory grief support
• Memorial planning (if necessary)
