Sexual Integrity Information

The Sexual Integrity Program promotes a real love story.
As women, we are created to love, to give life, and to have real joy. We are designed to reveal our true beauty, inside and out. We have true value.

We are meant to be whole. We can feel good about ourselves. Most importantly, we have the power to fulfill our dream of a beautiful love story--the one where we find true love that lasts forever.
The one with the happy ending. The key is making sexual choices that will keep us whole. Our sexuality is more than "sex." It is nothing less than our feminine nature itself - a unique thread, woven throughout each part of our lives, emotional, physical, social, intellectual and spiritual. It is only when we express our sexuality appropriately - in light of all the areas of our lives - that we become healthy, whole, empowered women. When we live this way, we are living with sexual integrity. Living with sexual integrity is the key to success in relationships and one sure way to make our dreams come true.

This week we look at the emotional aspect of sexual integrity:

Physical:  What we do with our body impacts our level of sexual integrity.  When God gave us the gift of life, he wrapped it up in a beautiful package: our human bodies.  He created us to give and receive love physically and he gave us the miraculous ability to re-produce life when we express our sexuality with our bodies.  He made us for a lifetime of sexual integrity.  That means we see our sexuality as positive and beautiful - a treasure of immense value to be treated appropriately in every phase of our lives:  protection in childhood, direction in adolescence and celebration in adulthood.  Our bodies were designed to experience love, pleasure, unity, joy and intimacy in a specific context:  marriage.  Our sexuality is meant for one person - a person worthy of our love - who is willing first to win our hearts (and commit to us for a lifetime) before winning our bodies.  When we have sexual integrity, we present ourselves in a way that reveals our true beauty without revealing too much of our bodies.  Revealing too much gives the impression that we are available to anyone.  Regardless of what we may have done with our bodies in the past, we can make choices that will make them pure and healthy starting today.  We can stay away from substances that weaken our ability to make good decisions.  We can keep our reproductive systems healthy knowing this amazing gift of fertility has an impact on every area of our health.
